In any other situation, Ragatha would pounce on the opportunity to make fun of Jax for wearing his shirt backwards.
In any other situation, Jax wouldn't have picked Ragatha up at 3 in the morning with no notice.
In any other situation, Pomni would be sitting as a buffer between the two of them. But an unprecedented and unspoken temporary truce was called between the two, even without Pomni's presence to serve as a reminder of good behavior. Pomni can't exactly serve as a physical buffer when, at some unknown point between the hours of 1:30 am and 2:30 am, she was dangling upside down in her car; the only thing keeping her from breaking her nose being her seatbelt.

I was thinking about sensory issues, and how they would be super amplified if you hadn't actually felt any physical sensations in a long time. This got projected onto Jax bc damn bro lost a whole body part (tail) without noticing and I think that's fucked up.

Pomni nods at the instructions, finding the adventure pretty easy. She yelps in surprise as she’s grabbed by Jax, the rabbit picking her right up off her feet.
“C’mon, Poms, let’s get a head start.” He demands with glee, and she smacks his back with an open palm, shouting at him to let her down, to no avail. He jumped into the portal, her scream cutting off as they were transported through, landing in a random spot on the colorful dessert-themed island they were on.
