John would often wonder if Sherlock was picking up on his attraction to him. If he was, he was hiding it so well. Then again, maybe if he was anywhere near as good at deduction as Sherlock was, maybe it really was blatantly obvious.
Damn him, the man who could read most everyone else but was unable to be read in turn.
And maybe it was for the best. Sherlock was a sociopath after all and not one to care about romance whatsoever. John knew this. It probably wasn’t even worth telling him how he felt, only to get shot down.

Auch unser Consulting Detective kämpft gegen den Corona-Koller, denn John tut Dienst an der Covid-Front und hat sich mit einigen Kollegen in einem alten Schwesternwohnheim einquartiert und die inzwischen fünfjährige Rosie ist auf dem Land bei Johns Tante Stella und ihrem Mann Ted untergebracht. Kein Wunder also, dass dem Consulting Detective die Decke auf den Kopf fällt! Und das gerade, als er und John anfingen, einander näher zu kommen. Nun bleibt dem Detektiv nichts anderes übrig, als sich um Martha Hudson zu kümmern und regelmäßig seine Schwester zu besuchen, wofür er ziemlich viel Geige üben muss. Wenigstens gibt es Skype! Und hin und wieder vielleicht wenigstens einen Cold Case...?
...oder sogar ein brandaktuelles abscheuliches Verbrechen!?!
