She has never read comics; has only seen Teen Titans and a few episodes of the animated series. Sure, she knows things about the comics, but she never read any directly. All she knows is from friends, Tumblr users, and shitty fanfic on the internet!
Is this because she went on a month-long comic-fan-content binge before she died? Before that month of craziness, she hadn't even known how many Robin's there were! Was this cosmic punishment, for how many times she uttered “At least I'm not a comics fan” before making a hypocrite of herself?
Now, her favorite Robin (tied, of course, with Dick Grayson, which her brother would undoubtedly agree with and co-sign) is her brother!
Which iteration is she in? What does she need to be prepared for? Joker Junior? Ra Al Ghul? How shitty is this version of Bruce Wayne?
It's time to put her money where her mouth is: she always said, during that last month of life, that if she was ever transported to the DCU, she'd do one specific thing.
“I have to kill Batman,” June Drake swore.

“He didn't look like your typical upstart vigilante though, most obviously because the young man's face wasn't covered. But there were other things too, no extra colours or logos, he was all black, the only real oddity was that he was missing a shoulder guard. Perhaps it was more odd that it's his only piece of armour. The whole thing seemed, manufactured somehow, like a uniform. His outfit would be best described as practical but that still felt wrong. Batman knew practical, he knew efficient, he knew function, just ask his utility belt, but he still had ears on his cowl. Batman was a symbol. This man was nothing.
Although, Bruce was looking at the man after his sword had been confiscated by Cassandra. He surely cut quite the imposing figure when he was wielding that monster.”

Thankfully, Drake makes quick work of his tie, and Damian can breathe again. Then his vest is off, and his dress shirt, and his skin is free of the horrible, awful scratchiness he'd endured all night. He stills feels dirty, like theres a coat of grime on his skin, but he knows in his soul that showering would make it worse. Feeling the water against his skin, his hands pruning, his feet getting wet, the thought makes him shudder.
His tears have dried, and the consistent flapping has stopped, but he can feel himself rocking back and forth, and can't find it in himself to stop.
/OR/ Damian has undiagnosed autism, and the Batfamily doesn't realize until it all starts to overflow
