Negotiating! Tim had been good at that! He still was? Or wasn’t…Tim was dead, but still not dead, but yes and no and- oh not now!
“Okie dokie on my way! I love you super much!” They hadn’t realized he was giggling until they were turning the corner and caught a glimpse of Alfred’s face darkening.
Tim Drake used to be Robin. Then he turned into Joker's kidnaped son. Now he's back in Wayne manor, but he can't be Robin anymore. Now people get scared when they laugh. He hasn't been in the Batcave since he was rescued. JJ and Tim are very confused, what are they supposed to do now?
Jason Todd used to be Robin. Then he was beaten with a crowbar by the Joker and blown up in a warehouse. Now he's alive and back in Wayne manor, but he can't be Robin anymore. Now it's been six years, the family has changed, and someone else has taken his mantle. Jason is furious, but he's got bigger things to think about.
Two of Bruce's sons, both screwed up and needing help, have to rely on each other to heal.

It's two weeks after the defeat of Superboy Prime. Steph is dead. Kon is dead. Bart and Clark have lost their powers. Cass is missing in action after Chemo. Dick has only just woken up from a coma. And Tim is now living in the manor after his fake uncle scheme has failed. It's also their first real Christmas since bringing Jason home and Bruce isn't sure how it will go.

Now there are bright lights everywhere, a load of movies about an old man breaking into people's houses and Bruce says today is going to be a completely different routine to usual. Jason is not impressed.

But soon the nightmares break through into his day.

When other ex-cult members turn up dead, Bernard and Jason decide to team up with Constantine, and investigate the origins of the Chaos Cult.

Tim Drake is a man on a mission. Which is to say he's an almost-ten-year-old with a special interest, little to no parental supervision, and unlimited funds. And now that he knows the identity of his biggest heroes (i.e. Nightwing, Robin, and the Titans, but don't feel bad, Mr. Wayne—Batman's a close runner-up!), he's determined to solve a few related mysteries. Such as, how do the meta members of the Titans hide their uniquely inhuman attributes? Who is Batgirl? Is there a literal Bat Cave hiding under Wayne Manor, and if so, can Tim take pictures? Because that would be SO cool.
But as Tim investigates the vigilante scene, he begins to see more and more complexity in the Wayne family dynamics... and wonder why he knows so much more about his sort-of-neighbors' lives than Jack and Janet Drake do about their own child's.
Little does he know that Dick Grayson is starting to wonder the same thing.
