The sheer gentleness of it almost did him in.
Robin squeezed his shirt. “Morning.”
Jaxon tipped Robin’s chin up with two fingers, slow and easy, giving him plenty of time to pull away. Robin didn’t. He couldn’t seem to. Jaxon’s gaze dipped to his mouth, then came back up like he was asking a question without words.
Robin narrowed his eyes a little. “Still haven’t brushed your teeth.”
Jaxon’s expression turned solemn. “A terrible burden.”
Robin snorted.

Shiroko and her remaining classmates are struggling to
keep their abandoned school afloat under the weight of a massive debt. Amid the desolate ruins and constant pressure from Kaiser Bank, the Foreclosure Group desperately brainstorms ways to earn money and survive. Word has spread about the situation in Kivotos; it is concerning the disappearance of the President of the General Student Council. However, hope is rekindled when they hear about a mysterious adult who will be replacing the President.
