Summary
Hollyleaf is gone, leaving Jayfeather and Lionblaze to sort out their feelings without her, not just on her death and the prophecy, but on the lies of their parents. Perhaps, for one of them, a different perspective could aid in understanding what their role is in the world. Meanwhile Dovepaw, the true third cat in the prophecy, flounders as she tries to find out how to deal with the special powers that have always seemed natural to her and her boundless, and often unwelcome, empathy to those outside her borders. With Lionblaze and Jayfeather in no state to truly help her, she may need to work to help them first. And along the way, Dovepaw's sister Ivypaw seeks to understand why her sister has so much praise and focus in the clan when she's done no more than Ivypaw has, and the burning jealousy in her heart may just open a doorway for darkness to come in.

A cat who wishes his odd dreams would go away.
Goldenkit, Hollykit, and Jaykit have born in ThunderClan as Firestar's grandkits, while a new queen has welcomed Dustkit into the clan. With the four shaping up to become good friends and apprentices, life is going well in ThunderClan.
Although, some questions are on every cat's minds:why won't Firestar make Dustkit an apprentice? How do they know Jaypaw will be useful as a blind cat? When will Goldenpaw learn to settle down? When will Lionpaw learn to settle down? Why does Hollypaw seem so dwindled from her medicine cat duties?
What does a ghost badger have to do with all of this?

Birchpaw cautiously stepped forwards, sniffing at the strange object and inspecting it. It was wooden with strange marks carved into it, smelling faintly of Twolegs. It was oddly shaped, with sharp edges on the sides, a rounded bottom, and a stick protruding from the top. He probably should have reported it to Brambleclaw or Ashfur, especially since it seemed like a Twoleg object, but after making sure he wouldn’t be spotted, he gently picked it up between his teeth and carried it off towards the apprentices’ den, curious what Whitepaw would think of it.

A dreidel falls into ThunderClan camp. Birchpaw finds it, and he and Whitepaw accidentally invent a centuries-old game.

Summary
The three have finally come together as a unit, but Ivypaw is still secretly training in the Dark Forest with an ever-increasing legion of dead and living warriors that the three have no way of accessing. Tensions rise among all the clans and in a litany of different specific relationships within them, and the Dark Forest may not be at fault for all of it. Yet, as secrets are revealed and familiar faces come back for an unwelcome return, it may be possible for some of Thunderclan to begin healing enough to face the grave danger that is on its way.

Summary

Hollytuft has always felt overshadowed by her dead aunt, Hollyleaf. However, after the defeat of the imposter, she feels as if she must find out more about her roots. Along the way, Hollytuft discovers more about her past, and herself.
Yarrowleaf feels like she's becoming distanced from her kits', Hopwhisker and Flaxfoot. However, as she tries to find some sort of way to re-connect with her kin, she finds herself having to come face-to-face with an old foe.
Harestar is desperately trying to keep his clan together, but he's worried that they see him as a weak leader after he worked with the imposter. But soon enough, Harestar meets a cat who claims that he can help him fix WindClan.
