As the crisis once again hits the pack, Damon remains with Mariella, blaming Mimi for throwing him out. Mimi, as the alpha female and leader of the pack, backed by several Salvatores, is not going to back down easily. When Damon’s frustration mounts as he observes Mimi’s influence, he withdraws further from Mariella. Actions have consequences, and actions usually elicit some kind of reaction.
