There's been some turmoil in the mushroom kingdom. Mario has retired, and forced Princess Peach to sign a peace treaty with her rival and kidnapper, King Bowser. They have shared assets from both their kingdoms, and tried to form peace between their subjects. Unfortunately, the citizens of their kingdoms have kept their prejudices from years of war and espionage. With Bowser busy trying to find out how to exist without a war, it's up to Princess Peach, Luigi, and Bowser's children to pick up the pieces of the Koopa and Mushroom kingdom alliance.

Everyone wants to be popular. Everyone wants to be loved. Everyone wants to be poppy, fresh, and cool. But not everyone gets along. You cannot please everyone. Not everyone looks out for you best interest. Schools, unbeknownst to the world, are the biggest examples of this type of social experiment. This is what happens when you mix teenagers of different races, religions, genders, sexualities, and personalities together and force them to go to the same place, day in and day out.
At Chris Martinet High School, there is a clear social hierarchy, with athletic jocks and preppy socialites at the top, and the stereotypical "nerds" and "geeks" at the bottom, and at the bottom of the food chain: Theater Geeks. They are seen as "flops" and "hopeless nobodies" that help the high tiers in no way, shape, or form. So, when some of CMHS' students are forced to join the school's musical production of "Dear Evan Hansen", how will heads clash? Will the students be able to find common ground? And, above all else, how will the power of the school's hierarchy shift?

Summary
Mario turned all his attention to Bowser. “I’ve been meaning to talk to you.”
Bowser felt his body freeze in time with his mind short-circuiting, standing there and just staring. The mechanical buzz of the lights above them filled the silence whilst he continued gaping at Mario, feeling his finger twitch for something.
They didn’t just do that. You didn’t just walk up to your enemy and say you’ve been meaning to talk to them. That you want to talk to them. And when the time came to talk… whatever he was planning, Bowser could feel cold dread go down his spine.“Something strikes me as odd about our rivalry, and I would like to ask a few questions! How about we meet sometime?” He continued.

Peach discovers that her 'favourite toad' is missing and asks Mario to go retrieve 'it', and so Mario goes to the first person he could think of who would have stolen it; Bowser. However, upon accidentally stumbling into his living room, he discovers that Bowser isn't what he seems- guess they have something in common.
As time goes on, Mario starts to understand the truth of the two opposing kingdoms.-

Peach and Daisy are sailing (via the Daisy Cruiser) to Giant Land to pay a visit to their giantess friend and ruler of Giant Land, Princess Apple. But the two arrive at a bad time... for Princess Apple has been imprisoned in her own castle by a group of Koopa troops led by the Koopa princess herself, Wendy O. Koopa. Wendy has invaded Giant Land wanting to get a piece of the very same Ultra Mushroom that made Princess Apple gain her huge size a while back. Unfortunately for Apple, Wendy's minions are able to dig up the mushroom, and Wendy takes a bite, growing her to almost the same size as Apple herself. Peach and Daisy arrive to see this horrible sight, and the two have to think of how they're going to not just rescue Apple, but also defeat the giant and powerful Wendy...
