Set several years after Hannibal and Will fall into the Atlantic and survive, and set almost immediately after Joe returns to New York with Kate from London. Will and Hannibal are currently residing and thriving in Paris. Hiding out is always tricky, but their own killings have gone relatively unnoticed as of late given the cacophony surrounding the newest rich tycoon, Joe Goldberg. The two never suspected their lives would intertwine until one, Marienne, having returned after being freed from her cage, starts therapy with Hannibal and two, Joe Goldberg sets his eyes on Will Graham.
