Summary
Nux was supposed to die when the War Rig crashed. In fact, by all accounts he did. However, given the fact he just woke up in a strange house in Gastown, he suspects he did not, in fact, die. Meanwhile, Capable finds herself helping to steer the Wasteland's most powerful fortress towards a better system, mourning the loss of her friends and dealing with an incapacitated Furiosa. Slit would very much like everyone to fuck off so he can suffer in peace.
Somehow, these three sets of circumstances will start a revolution.

Summary
It took some time for the implications to sink in, for Jack to understand the timeline. He had been there, teaching Furiosa bike tricks and running the wheels of commerce for Immortan Joe, while Toast was snatched from her home and locked up into a nightmare a few hallways away.
The dreams didn’t start that night, but slowly oozed into his mind from that day on. Sticky and black, like tar he can’t manage to wash off his skin. And he shouldn’t be able to, is the thing. This is a stain he deserves.

Summary
Furiosa has spent most of her young adult life drifting from place to place, unable to find a steady job due to her tumultuous past. When her childhood friend Max offers her a place to stay and tells her about a job opening at the local mechanics, Furiosa starts to hope for some semblance of a normal life for the first time. And when she meets a bartender with an Australian accent who happens to also be Max's other roommate, her world starts to get both a bit brighter and a little more confusing.

Summary
Having defeated Immortan Joe, Furiosa took her rightful place as leader of the Citadel. However, she could never quite shake off the feelings left behind by Max. Under Joe's rule, Furiosa lived a life of self-imposed celibacy, never allowing herself to experience thoughts of lust, let alone love. Max's arrival and his just as quick departure changed everything. In her journal, the former Imperator chronicles the days and weeks, perhaps months following the demise of Joe, along with the ever-burning flame she holds for the nomadic road warrior.

Summary
Furiosa tries to imagine appearing to herself a year ago and explaining her present reality: a world where Jack had survived, and they had the freedom to really be together. If that version of herself could even seriously picture such a world, could imagine how they’d fill their days, she doubts the list would include falling asleep fully-clothed and exhausted most nights, Jack nodding off long before Furiosa is ready to stop planning at her worktable, his even breaths the soundtrack to her late-night tinkering.

Rebuilding the Citadel is hard work. Rebuilding the broken shards of her own humanity isn’t exactly easy, either. Fortunately, Furiosa has help for both - if she can learn how to accept it.

Summary
The Shadow continues to stare straight ahead. Furiosa does not have an egotistical need for deference and almost ignores him. But at the last moment, this looming figure looks right into her eyes. They linger for less than a second, but what she sees there reminds her of a spark to guzzoline. Sudden fire, light, an explosion and flurry of feeling that she can’t even begin to comprehend.

Summary
You were the Immortan Joe’s only daughter. Viktory the Virtuous. You wanted to live up to your namesake in battle, but you were forbidden to leave the Citadel. That was, until the Immortan married you off to some greasy schlanger from Gas Town.
He said it was an “honor” to be a Wife. But you wanted freedom.
Then you were taken into the arms of a feral wastelander. He ruined your plans to “escape.” War Boys captured him. The Immortan locked you in with the Wives. They were to prepare you for the ceremony. Your suitor would arrive the next day.
The Splendid Angharad told you about the Green Place. Imperator Furiosa was taking them—and you, too.
There was the promise of blood and death on the Fury Road. What no one expected was for a War Boy’s “bloodbag” to carve that path himself.
The feral wastelander you met wasn’t human. Why help, if he could make you all into his own “bloodbags”? He didn’t seem to know, either…

“I could recognise him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.”
When Nux wakes up, he is on fire.
