“Mike.” Franklin stares at him, watching him scratch the ears of the dog he wouldn’t make eye contact with ten hours ago.
“Huh.”
“Man, what do you want?”
Michael slows but doesn’t stop. He doesn’t turn around. Suddenly, Franklin’s consumed with what it would feel like to put a gun to the back of his skull, snarl, make him avoid his eyes in the rearview mirror of his kid’s shitty car, just in case he becomes one of Franklin’s stories.
His supremacy is brief; even in his mind, he’s got to admit he likes it better when his hands are on the wheel and Michael’s calling the shots.—
When Trevor kidnaps Patricia Madrazo and gets exiled from the city, Michael goes into hiding at Franklin’s house instead, questioning his partnership with Trevor. For Michael, leaving Sandy Shores means an opportunity, a clean slate, better decisions, with someone good for him and whom he’s good for. For Franklin, it’s a long night.

A poly story about Michael, Trevor, Franklin, and my OC, Bunny. Self-indulgent? Maybe. But there is a plot, I promise. There are plenty of conflicting feelings regarding Michael and Trevor's relationship which only intensifies the more time they spend with each other, and with Frank and Bunny. Franklin struggles with his sexuality, and his confusion has rippling affects on the people around him. Bunny struggles with her anger and the bad decisions her anger leads her to. Michael is still convinced he can fix things with his family and strings just about everyone along. Trevor is angry, and lonely, and he gives his love while waiting, impatiently, for it to be returned. That's kind of it, really.

Franklin smiles. “What’s it about?”
Michael looks at him, a spaghetti noodle hanging from his mouth. “You couldn’t possibly care about this type of shit.” He may love movies, but he knew it wasn’t exactly popular with the newer generations. Especially the ones he was into.
Franklin just shrugs. “I like learning. Helps with my smartassery.”
Michael rolls his eyes but can’t help but smile faintly. Franklin makes a soft noise that sounds like a laugh and takes a forkful of noodles into his mouth. “So?”
Michael twists his fork around mindlessly, staring at the screen. He’s seen this movie so many times he’s pretty sure he could recite the whole thing.
“Well first off,” he says as some old creepy looking dude appears on camera. “That dude is an absolute dick.”

Trevor had imagined pulling off a heist with millions of dollars worth of gold would be more than enough to unite and bond people for life, but boy had he been wrong. His own people, the ones he'd considered his family wanted to watch him burn, wanted to strip him of everything and leave him for dead, because Steve fuckin' Haines of all people wanted him gone, and Michael De fuckin' Santa of all people wanted to oversee it. It was unbelievable.
But, he supposes death isn't so bad, especially with a terrifying reputation that would've outlived him anyway, and millions of dollars he'd threatened Lester into wiring to his account no matter what. Ron would do with it what he wanted, and Trevor could rest in peace. Saved him the trouble of having to seek revenge too.
Except they must have really sucked at burning him alive because he wakes up a little more than a week later with a pistol to his head, with a woman he doesn't recognize in yet another life threatening situation and Trevor really finds himself wishing he'd been crisp meat.
Those stupid motherfuckers.
