Rex folded his hands behind his back, forcing himself to look open and casual, hoping there was still a way to rescue this situation. “What’s your name, trooper?” he asked.
The clone searched his face for a moment, expression blank. Then his face broke out in a tiny smile, one which looked innocent at first. “My number's in the file, sir, right next to my list of crimes. I thought you read it.”
Beside him Jesse snorted, a laugh that was quickly wrestled down so it came out as a huff of air, and Rex went stiff. The trooper's eyes snapped over to Jesse at the sound, his smile growing to show the white hint of teeth.
“CT-0312,” Rex barked, and the clone’s attention focused on him, his shoulders going stiff and defensive. He didn’t lose the smile though.
“You can just call me Three-twelve, sir. There’s no need to full-name me.”

CT-0312 is a broken clone with a bad reputation and a black spot in his record, and Rex just can't leave well enough alone.

Cody leads the 212th battalion. His days are somehow complicated and simple, that constant litany of hurry up and wait every soldier hates knowing but still, there's a rhythm to it and he's as settled as a person in his place can be. But he has a problem, see, there's a mission coming up. He has to look at the troopers he's known for years, the ones he calls his vode, his siblings, and he has to pick one knowing no matter how good they are, no matter how skilled, this is one mission they won't come back from.
"Can I help you, soldier?" Cody asks the trooper at his door, armour just barely painted yet scuffed enough they can't be a shiny.
"I'm here to volunteer, sir."

CC-0066 has been Marshal Commander Neyo's aide for a few months now, but no matter what he tries, he always seems as if he's going backwards instead of forward in fitting in with his new position and the other troopers. But he's trying! He really is, it's just... hard.
On leave from the last campaign on Coruscant, 66 goes to the Jedi Temple to get a form signed by High General Windu. He gets... distracted... It's not his fault! He wasn't expecting the Temple to have a whole world condensed to a singular room filled with plants and water and all sorts of fish! Oh- the fish!
(It's okay, because he and General Windu have their talk while watching the fish. The fish always make everything better).
