“Leo/Need, you’re up in five minutes!” The lady dressed vaguely in a black three-piece shouted at Ichika. “Get ready!”
Ichika gives the lady a nervous nod, hands sweaty as they slide over the arm of her guitar. “R-right!”
She takes a deep breath. The backstage feels unusually cold and oppressing at this particular time, and the music of MIRACLE, the band that’s just started their last song, feels like a distant ringing in her music. Ichika can vaguely make out the pain-filled lyrics, but it’s all far-away sound as she tries and fails to calm herself down.
Leo/Need is currently standing at the backstage of a massive stadium, about to perform for a multi-band event indie music concert. And Ichika is nervous.
Unusually nervous.

ALTERNATE HISTORY: The Soviet Union and its satellite states have survived into the 1990s, and are beginning to integrate with the rest of the world. Western culture trickles into the Soviet Union. There is a noticeable political divide between the old and young that exist in the Union, which Sasha (the main character) is caught in the middle of.
Addendum: Viktor Tsoi never dies in 1990 in this timeline. Kino is still around in 1993 and is still making music.
Sixteen year old Sasha is waiting patiently in his apartment in Leningrad in the afternoon. His friends show up and break him out to bring him to a concert of the famous band Kino, who are playing at the Leningrad Rock Club. The story follows his perspective as he and his friends make their way to the Rock Club to catch the concert, and explore the alternate history setting, rich in references to Soviet and Russian rock culture, as well as hints of how Western culture has influenced this alternate 1993.

After the marriage and the children, Marcus has had problems at work, he turns out to be colder and more of an asshole, to the point of going too far. He becomes too jealous, possessive, and treats both Simon and his children badly.The typical shitty man.
Simon, however, is too naive and does nothing, but he's also very sad because he's locked up in that pain and is afraid to escape.
Maybe fate will bring Wilhelm and Simon's paths together again. What will happen?
There's a lot of FUCK MARCUS in this story. And if you're a fan of Protective Wilhelm like me, maybe this story is for you, but honestly, I don't know.
