His hair, unlike Shadow Milk’s unsettling mass filled with shifting eyes, framed his face in a refined manner fitting of a gentleman, with a long, glimmering silver beard to match, braided into a thick plait. His heavy robes brushed the ground, mirroring Recluse’s own style, the inky velvet shifting from blue to indigo to violet in the moonlit room.

    His eyes were deep-set, dark, and filled with stars; they looked like the type of eyes that had witnessed the rise and fall of countless kingdoms. A gold monocle sat perched on his left eye, the reflective gleam coyly hiding it from view. His staff, similar to Recluse’s own, tapped lightly against the ground as he approached.

    Oh. He was approaching. Recluse had been staring for far too long.

    “Act my age, you say?” His voice was calm and mild, deep in timbre and slightly muffled by his thick beard- a shocking departure from Shadow Milk’s normal high-pitched dramatics.

    “So be it, then.”

    Summary

    Twisted Ganache, once a pure, self righteous hero of her time, is now a mystery after being left for dead years ago. What was rightfully hers faded with time or was taken, and she isn't known for letting go of grudges. However, she can't help but lean back and watch the discord occurring on Earthbread thanks to her helpful servants...it's only a matter of time before she intervenes and makes things more to her liking.

    Affogato has strayed far from the path of light: after failing to take over the Dark Cacao Kingdom, he has to make some decisions that alter his life. But when Gingerbrave and his friends find him once again, he almost expects another battle: not their concerned, pleading looks, and his Soul Jam speaking to him about a new threat.

    Setting aside the past and the scars that appeared, he embarks on a journey with them, Smoked Cheese Cookie, Black Sapphire Cookie and others to figure out what is happening to Earthbread...before Fortuna chooses the wrong person to bestow her blessing upon.

Some part of her was suddenly aware of how empty her little manor was, how the children of her kingdom used to cling to her.

    The Sage of Truth, as one of the heads of the kingdom, was bound to come, at least for an hour.

He pauses occasionally, heaving lightly ── their heartbeats are synced, tied by what feels like loose strings. "you're exactly what I wanted you to be. Doesn’t that excite you?”

    "..." Truthless Recluse does not respond. He shall not talk; he does not need to, he does not want to. Shadow Milk understands regardless of how he acts ── there is truly no lying to him anymore. There never will be again.
