It's a cloudy, grayed and humid kind of night– the moon shines behind the clouds as gentle sprinkles of rain slowly fall. Their parting is being done behind the library, an old building in the city with moss creeping along the cobbled stones of the road nearby. She's looming in the doorway and Vergil is getting more wet the longer he stares at her but there are more pressing matters at hand than some damp clothes.
(Or, a universe where Vergil chooses to stay regardless of the consequences.)

Credo released the breath he had been holding as he stood up. The creature’s fingernails were long and glowing a vibrant blue. The demon looked at Agnus as the doctor pointed at him. His eyes blazed red as he met the gaze of the doctor.
“You have something…that belongs to me.” The demon spoke and then turned to look at the katana. Suddenly, Credo could see that the broken pieces of the Yamato were glowing red now. Was the broken blade…responding to the figure?

Nero always knew growing up he was different from his peers, *very different*. If that wasn't clear from his shocking white hair, build that towered over the rest of the kids growing up, and...his demonic right arm that seemed to glow at all the wrong times. *cough during church *cough*.
It was clear to Nero that he belonged to the 80% of the world that had unique powers called "Quirks" (or did he). That was unfortunate for him as he grew up on the Island of Fortuna, the only place on Earth, he believed, "banished" people for having quirks off and away from the Island.
So when his lover and childhood friend, Kyrie, drops on him that she signed him up for a Foreign Hero School Exchange Program at UA, IN JAPAN, he's none too pleased. But faced with no choice, he had to either stay on Fortuna with his love and risk falling into the island's ruling body's grubby hands, OR discover an entirely new, possibly safer, world and maybe a new side to himself that he had never had the chance to.
