Summary
When the worlds of Keves and Agnus began to split apart once more upon Z’s defeat, they each intended to return to their prior states. But after a sudden freeze in each, a lingering voice is forced to restore a backup of the worlds… so far back that the man who created them yet lived.
Though all should return to normal if the events of each play out identically, the backup is found to be corrupted. The voice finds no major world-threatening issues and proceeds anyway, but perhaps that was a poor choice of words.
As Noah wakes up in Colony 9, with the Sword of the End by his bedside, and Mio wakes up in Torigoth, only a few changes have occurred to the two worlds in the grand scheme of things. But though relatively few in number to the thousands of lives in each world, each life that persisted from the endless now was anything but unimportant.
After all, two very important journeys were about to begin.
*A for-fun post-ending rerun of the plots of Xenoblade 1 and 2 with Xenoblade 3's characters present, and new plot connections along the way.*

Summary
Fifteen years after sacrificing himself to give Shulk and his friends the barest chance of victory against Zanza, Egil awakens on a beach in Shulk's new world, all his millennia of fighting finally rewarded. Freed from the burdens of revenge, and given a second chance, Egil attempts to atone for his sins-only to find that the world has moved on without him.
That's fine-he's nothing if not adaptable. But did his little sister REALLY have to marry one of the Homs who beat him? -

"Strength does not come from physical capacity, but from one's own indomitable will."
Dickson never would have guessed how much he had underestimated that little girl he found in the temple that day, nor the power of will she would grow to possess. No one did...other than the Monado.

XENOBLADE CHRONICLES SPOILERS
Shulk felt nothing as he turned back and met Dickson’s eyes, only just visible over the barrel of the gun he had seen in his visions. Maybe he should have felt something- horror, or fear, anything other than the void gnawing at his chest- but Shulk could only watch as Fiora shouted something too hazy to hear, and Reyn tackled Dickson to the ground, and the fingers of Egil’s mech curled upwards to shield him.
In which Shulk survives Mechonis Core, Egil is a walking youtuber apology video, and Zanza remains imprisoned- for now.

Summary
An AU where things go differently starting at about the end of the battle of the Titans. Instead of being pushed to live in hiding on the Fallen Arm, the Machina and the last of the Bionis inhabitants make a treaty after the sealing of Zanza. With access to their city, Egil is given the help he needs (to a degree, at least) and is kept from creating the Faces.
The Monado is unsealed much later in Shulk's life, and as a result, the road to Zanza's defeat is one unexplored in canon, as well as a series of events not fully grounded in what canon gives us.

Summary
In one single instance, heralded by the simultaneous crossing of blades within each world, four worlds that share a common bond collided. In one single instance, four worlds, four existences, met their ultimate “fate” at the hands of the Flow of Time, a "fate" that cruelly sought to annihilate everything.
However, whether it be some “miracle,” or “fate,” or something else entirely, the four worlds destined for annihilation would gain another chance at life. Once more, the people of these four worlds will struggle to claim their own “destiny,” to earn a better “tomorrow,” to fight for these meaningless terms that, through their actions, they give meaning to.
In one single instance, four worlds, four existences, disappeared without a trace. And in their place, a single, interlinked “future,” was born.

Ontos had sensed glitches in the system, holes in the fabric of reality, from time-to-time ever since creating the new world. It was normal, and often small enough he could fix with a flick of the metaphorical wrist. If not that, then it was obvious enough the residents of the world he watched over would take care of it…
(OR: The worst case of 3 worlds merging ever happens and Alvis leaves it to the living, normal old beings to figure it out.)

Summary
Long ago, two Titans, the very worlds people lived on, began to fight. The Bionis and the Mechonis clashed, and many lives were lost… Locked in a battle that only ended as their souls began to drain.
An attack devastated the lives of both Titans, leaving them all with more wounds than any would like to admit. But a shaky peace was found, in the middle of what was now known as Sword Valley. The leader of the Machina and the last of the giants came to an agreement; Zanza would be forever locked away, and they would live their own lives. Sword Valley would be neutral territory, only the Mechon on it allowed to remain. For if anyone from the Bionis or the Machina were to step foot on it, the peace would be broken.
The distance would be closed and the curse of Zanza would rear its ugly head once more.
And it seemed the savant Egil, his sister Vanea, and the doctor Linada would be the ones to see the distance close.

Summary
“I shall be on my way if you are disturbed by my presence.” She tries to deflect, already regretting this risky venture.
“Do not assume I was disturbed, fledgling. I am Egil. Will you enjoy this pleasant night with me?”
The wind rustles lightly through her feathers as she thinks about his offer, ignoring his infantilizing pet name. It would be her first (and possibly only) chance to talk to anyone as Just Melia.
It was a reckless night, after all.
or, in which Melia decides to have a little "teenage" rebellion and sneak out when she finds a mysterious figure on the edge of a cliff looking out at the Mechonis. She decides to give him a chance.
