Dear Spawn… shouldn’t have let Assault drag me into the festivities last night, I feel like I got hit by one of Daedalus’s rocks. Where is my helmet?”, the soldier says, fumbling around for it before clumsily putting it on.
Spotting Guest, they spring off the table and stand at attention, breaking into a crisp salute.
“Field Medic Whiskey of Stronghold 5-5, Dominian Army, Sir!”, the soldier belts out without anyone actually asking them.
Everyone is caught off guard by this sudden exclamation but Guest, recovering faster, salutes them back.
“Thank you, soldier. You are dismissed.”
The medic starts to move off but stops halfway through a step and turns back to him.
“Where exactly am I, sir? If my memory serves me right, I’m meant to be in the desert, not a log cabin.”
All the survivors turn to look at each other then back at the clueless medic. “Who’s going to tell them?”
A few minutes later, Elliot finally manages to tell Whiskey, who’s smile has faded into a straight line.
“So you’re telling me, I’ve been pulled out of my life into a realm policed by a malevolent entity who’s going to send us into rounds where our main goal is to fix generators to speed up a timer while being hunted down by people trying to kill us with supernatural abilities?”
“That’s the main idea.”, Elliot says with a small sigh.
“Apart from the fixing generators to speed up a timer, that sounds just like Tuesday to me!”, the field medic says with a forced laugh.
While this was happening, a few curious survivors started investigating the corpsman’s equipment, Noob very clearly interested in their firearm.
With the forced smile of a war-scarred robloxian, they hold out their hand, which is shaking with anxious energy. “Can I have that back, please? That’s… fragile.”

a bit too hurriedly, as they drop their metal first aid kit on its hinges and the supplies spill out.“Dear Spawn, calm my nerves and clear my judgement, lest I make a fool of myself.”, Whiskey mutters under their breath as 1337 helps them gather the scattered contents.

“Wait, I think I know you. You were our original scout!”, they shout, rushing up to Guest and pulling out their wallet, flicking out a picture. It’s a group photo of 5 soldiers, each in a differing state of excitement, one of them looking like a younger version of Guest 1337.Turning over the picture, there’s something scrawled on it.
“Our first deployment as Stronghold 5-5! Wish us luck!”“13, do you remember Dune, the defense that ended with the worst retreat the Dominion had ever seen? We were the last team to get out and the Nusians had us surrounded. You stayed behind to cover our retreat.”, the dummy spoke, voice cracking with intense emotion.
“You died that day, 13.”
“When the Dominion retook the base a month later, we scoured the whole place for you. All we found was your helmet, flecked with blood and half buried in the sand.”

Currently all the lore isn't out for the game, so this fic is MAINLY HEADCANNON BAISED, but I am trying my best to stay true to the actual cannon stuff as well.
