Summary
I hadn't planned on it, but this story idea caught me and I couldn't let it go. Mirrored Eyes is a Worm/RWBY crossover, the prototype for which appeared in my Worm snips thread. I've made some significant changes since then, thanks in part to the suggestions and brainstorming of the people who read it, so a quick thanks to everyone who contributed there; even if I didn't use your ideas, they helped me come up with others that I am using in several cases.
Compared to my other Worm fic (Two Steps Forward, One Step Back), I expect this story to be lighter in tone and more action-focused (after the introductory arc is over, anyway - which shouldn't take long). The chapters will also be shorter, and it won't be in first person POV (partly for reasons that should quickly become obvious, partly just so I can practice something else). I will be posting updates pretty quickly at first, because I have some in the bank; I didn't want to start posting this in its own thread until I was sure I could follow through.

Straightforward premise. Amy Dallon is pushed by the S9, hard enough to actually *fight back*. From there, things diverge from canon.
This story is a "fix fic", where I rework the story and change the things I feel Wildbow gets wrong. In that he only shows the main characters going through hell, an it numbs the audience. I, on the other hand, will show you them at their happiest... that way, when they go through hell, you readers will feel it all the more completely.
Because that's how I feel you can improve upon Worm as a story.
And in the process, I get a whole bunch of other stuff wrong!
