The person on the other side of the phone said something he couldn’t quite remember. All he could pay attention to was his elevated heart rate. He had done this before, in Steel Cove. He betrayed and shot his commanding officer. He was no stranger to this type of stuff.
So why was he so terrified?
“Understood. We’re near the docks. I’ll dump her in Erie. Nobody’ll find her down there.” He hung up the phone, letting out a shaky breath as his facade dropped. “Shit.”

Finch nods, despite the fact that Jackdaw can’t see it. As luck would have it, Falcon turns the corner into a bedroom, blissfully unaware he’s being stalked. Carefully looking around, Finch walks into the room and closes the door, carefully latching it as silent as they could. Falcon, staring intently at something on a dresser, hasn’t noticed yet, back turned to his assailant. Perfect.

Summary
After waking up from a near death experience and a failed mission, Wren tries to adjust to the changes in his life as he realizes that the organization he works for, Halcyon, holds more secrets from him than he’s able to tolerate.
On the other side, Player’s life gets thrown out the window as they get rescued by their former enemy from Wren’s attempt on their life. They only manage to hold themselves together just enough to pursue the destruction of the people that wronged them.
As the two opponents of this shadow war work towards their separate goals, the underlying mysteries about their lives and their pasts begin to resurface.

Before descending to Earth in search of his husband, Christopher Clementé, he left a note detailing the rankings of the crystals and their abilities, adding that the crystals are unbreakable and cannot be used by others.
