Summary
“I’m always nice,” he says, petulant.
River can’t repress her bitter laugh. “Darling, you don’t even know what you’ve done today.”
“Fine, then.” He crosses his arms. “What have I done?”
She has to be careful here. “You left Amy alone.” She has to make a conscious effort to relax her grip on the circuit board she’s holding. “You told her she was dying and then you told her to shut up when she was scared.”

Summary
Fresh off his most recent regeneration, the Doctor has more changes to cope with than just his face. Something is wrong with Rose and he can't seem to figure out how to fix it. With a new companion, a new horrifying prophecy, and River Song appearing almost everywhere he turns, the Doctor does what he does best--he runs.
This is a Pond-Era rewrite where Rose never got separated from the Doctor. It is Part 5 of a series, so while you are welcome to try to jump in here, I make no promises about how much sense this will make. While still following the order of the show as best we can, we did leave canon behind a long time ago.

Summary
She didn't think about it at the time. She understood, on some level, that this was morally wrong - that she was trying to cheat on her fiancé the night before her wedding. The Doctor's reaction was less of a factor. He was reluctant, yes, he was looking for excuses to avoid giving her what she wanted, but it didn't even really occur to her that maybe he didn't want this. She was simply running on adrenaline and her brain was going too fast to stop and think. It wasn't until later that the weight of what she'd attempted sunk in.

River Song's life has always been about the Doctor, every part of her life a reflection of him. This means she is a secondary character in everyone's story, the Doctor's, her parent's and sometimes even her own. Summary
He said a lot of things that night. You’re getting married in the morning. I’m nine hundred and seven years old. I don’t get older, this can’t ever work. You’re human. All of them true, but not quite right.
“Oh, you are sweet, Doctor,” Amy had said, and the heat in her voice still made his stomach clench with anxiety at the thought of it “But I really wasn’t suggesting anything quite so long-term.”
I don’t think I have ever felt the way you're feeling right now he should’ve said instead.

Sherlock grumbled, looking up and seeing a man getting out of the dark blue car. The man confidently strode toward them, with a cocky grin and shining eyes. John got up, nudging Sherlock. "Doctor John Watson." He said, putting his hand forward. The man- Jack Harkness- smiled and took his hand. "You're a doctor all right." John's face crinkled in confusion. Sherlock pushed past John and took Jack's hand. "Why, hello." Jack said, his eyes looking over Sherlock. "Stop it." John snapped, then paused. 'What?'

Summary
“Doctor, one more thing before your song ends.” The Doctor stopped his movements but didn’t turn around. “When the Angels weep,” The Ood continued, “she will return and she, too, will weep for the only way to survive will bring back memories of the day she died." This definitely got the Time Lord’s attention.
“Who?” He managed to ask the Ood. “Who will return?”
“She has many names by now. One name can bring happiness, love, and joy, as well as sorrow. Another name brings fear and death.”

Summary
The first time Amy meets River Song, she is like a mystery unfurling right in front of them, teasing the nearly ineffable Doctor with tastes of the future. It drives him mad, and maybe Amy just a bit as well.
Ten minutes later, River Song has an easy, comforting arm wrapped around Amy. That drives her a little more mad.
