Summary
David has always had an 'Ideal Plan' for senior year. That 'Ideal Plan' is to lay low, not draw attention to himself, and make it out of Duane High unscathed.
But then, David is roped into auditioning for the school musical.
And then, David meets Jack Kelly.
Suddenly, the 'Ideal Plan' is thrown out the window, and David and Jack are left grasping at straws for any sense of normalcy.All they can do is hold on tight and wait for curtain call.

Summary

As alcohol is banned in the United States, Racetrack Higgins creates his greatest get-rich-quick scheme yet - to create an underground bar with Jack and Spot. They quickly learn they’ll need more help, and the old gang is back together once more. This started as an idea for a long-deserved newsies sequel series.

Summary
Everyone loves Meet-Cutes, but what about Meet-Uglies? Jack Kelly and David Jacobs meet for the very first time when they get in a car accident. They're both okay, but their cars are... not. It creates some problems.
Perspectives of both Jack and David, navigating a very unfortunate and complicated situation.
Jack feels super guilty, and bends over backwards trying to fix his mistake. But tying up loose ends so he never has to see this guy again... is not exactly the first thing on his mind.
David initially does not like this Jack fella, who nearly turns his life upside down when he accidentally wrecks their cars with his distracted driving. But once he gets to know him, Jack Kelly turns his life upside down in a totally different way.(Previously called "Javid Meet-Ugly" but that is now the series name)

Davey is a little bit of an unrealistic dreamer, while Jack is the one trying to keep them afloat. Davey goes ahead and makes it worse. I know the roles are typically reversed, but I’m kind of vibing the “above the fold” scene while Jack is still in a mood.

Summary
Sarah Jacobs is in love with Jack Kelly. She knows (though she shouldn't) that her brother David is also in love with Jack. Katherine and David love each other, too, in their own way. With Katherine's help, Sarah is going to make sure everyone gets to be happy.
In other news, Jack and David uncover a conspiracy against the railroad unions, Katherine finds a new story in a familiar location, and Sarah finds herself drawn into the work of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
(Or, the fic in which the author has historical notes at the end, and tries her best to explain the complexities of marriages and same-sex relationships in the 1900s - while also letting her characters push the boundaries of said relationships.)

Summary
David has always felt out of place. He's been stuck in one spot for his entire life, and even that feels less and less like home each day- especially after meeting someone special.
Jack has never had a place to fit in. He's never had stability, or a home, or a family- until he meets someone who feels like all of it combined.When fate brings them together, they must make a decision: trust each other enough to follow a dream, or allow themselves to give up before the journey's even started.
