Narvin doesn't trust this new Romana and her dangerous, paradox inducing plan. He is lured in by her charm anyway. He would do anything for his President, so why does Trey feel the need to try so hard to get him to trust her. And he really doesn't want to do this, so this "Trey" must not truly be his Romana. He must play along anyway. He's probably being paranoid, right?
Narvin's thoughts during the the scene from 6.2 Renaissance, where they are speaking alone at some sort of outdoor overlook, and Trey is laying the flirting and flattery on thick, but I make the scene even more overtly romantic because this is fanfiction. Including a flashback from Extermination, Romana's speech about the "last sunset". That was touching. You know the one.
Narvin realizes he wants to kiss Romana.
