Summary
Tommy almost wondered what all the fuss was about. Maybe there was another party where the nosy people would poke and prod him and tell him to do something when all he wanted to do was sleep. But, in the end, he couldn’t bring himself to care. Not when a nap sounded so appetizing; there had been enough chaos for today, and he’d even moved to the front of this cage! Now he needed a nice, long rest to regain energy, just like his mother told him. Just like he always did everyday.
He yawned–small jaw stretching and revealing a row of jagged, razor-sharp teeth– before curling back into a ball, pressing his nose into the warmth of his chest. He sighed, claws clicking against the metal beneath him, and closed his eyes, tuning out the shouts and panicked calls outside of his home.
Here it was warm. And peaceful. Tommy quite liked both.
It was all he knew.

Summary
The infant was small in his arms, smaller than he was probably supposed to be, but Techno was a brute, a fighter, a front liner. He was bigger than most, he knew, but that didn’t mean Wilbur had to be so tiny in his arms. He chuffed a small greeting to his nephew, walking to the kitchen and beginning to make dinner one handedly.
They would figure everything out once they’d eaten, showed and slept. Though a plan was already forming in Techno’s mind, because Kristin would be avenged and he would make sure of it.
“No-Aaah!” Niki screeched in laughter as Sally managed to tackle her in the water. They both came up spluttering and laughing.
“How do you do this, Wil? I can’t figure it out.” Sally turned to Wilbur who shrugged with a smile. “Please?” She asked and Wilbur looked at Niki who was looking at him earnestly. The two really wanted to learn, it seemed.
“Okay, okay,” He said with a laugh. He pushed himself up and walked towards the water, stopping a bit before the water and turning. “I’ll show you the moves, okay?” He asked and the two nodded eagerly.

It dawned on him that his arms still refused to relax, when they moved of their own volition to point to his right, the feathers brushing his lips as his fingers let the arrow fly, whizzing through the air towards the shadows between trees.
There was no sound once it passed through, his ears dialed up in the hopes of hearing the thunk of wood by this point. This forest was large, an arrow could only fly so far.
His skin paled as the arrow returned, thrown from the shadows and split in half to the floor.
"Not bad."
He had prayed for a bear, but those can't talk.

Eager and selfish footsteps trailed away from it, dragging a small, broken form behind; a wake of shimmering blood left behind on soft blades of grass.

“Tommy!” the Whisper Fae roared, rattling the cage once more. His eyes were red and incensed. He opened his mouth to continue screaming, but nothing came out for a moment. He paused, releasing his grip on the iron, his palms raw and bloody from the burns. “Sunshine,” the Whisper Fae tried again in a saccharine voice, “Why do you insist on hurting us so? Don’t you love us?”
“Oh, piss off, Whisper Fae. Besides, my quarrel isn’t with you.” He bent down and grabbed a stray pipe just laying on the ground.
“Is it with the Watcher Fae?” the Blood Fae queried. He was always the more astute of the two of them.
A crow cawed in the distance.
“I’m supposed to be eighteen!” Tommy snapped.

She commented, but Wilbur was slow to reply, his eyes admiring her face as moonlight danced across her features kindly. His mind compared her to that of a statue, crafted by one with great craftsmanship, molded in a way that your breath would be taken away each time you'd lay your eyes upon it,knowing you would never have enough time to drink in all its features.
She tilted her head up, her eyes locking onto his in a brief, sudden moment

Long pink hair flows behind the man like a river; soft and smooth, but something about it screams dangerous. Something about him screams dangerous.
Phil scrambles backwards, desperate to get away from this stranger that appeared out of thin air. Though he expects the man to come after him, he makes no move to do so. He just stands there, staring back at Phil with brown eyes that almost gleam red.
“Hello.” The man says, tilting his head to the side and inspecting Phil like he’s a wild animal to be torn apart and assessed. “Who-”
Before the man can get out any more words, Phil is gone, racing into the woods with a power he never knew he had.

As his feet stumbled through the door frame, it was not cold tiles that hit his toes. It wasn’t his shitty balcony, with dead plants and old bugs.
It was…grass?
Looking up, he appeared to be in a clearing.
Bright green grass layered the floor, like someone had taken a picture and turned up the exposure. It seemed to be coated in dew, droplets of crystal clear liquid dripping off each blade. The moon hung high, a freckle of stars spreaded across the cloudless sky.
The trees, he recognised as the ones from the forest surrounding the town. Tall, an oaky brown colour, with September-hazel leaves. The sort of trees you’d expect to be dripping with syrup.
And right in front of him, a tall man, with curly brown hair and bright brown eyes.
Tommy’s come down with something. What it is, he doesn’t know, only with how fucking sick he is, it’ll probably kill him.
And then-
He meets Wilbur.
