Meiling and Sakuya have adapted quite well to the new circumstances all things considered. Assisting a fairy in raising a child wasn't on any of their bingo cards for the year after all.
Though the question of if allowing the fairy to attempt to take care of her daughter was the right call hangs heavily in the air, even as the parent and child grow closer.
Though there's another question that also needs to be answered.

As shenanigans ensued, the Scarlet Devil Mansion kept getting pushed to its limits, until eventually, a big explosion put the final nail in the coffin. After paying the bills for renovation which would take around two to three weeks, the residents were left with no choice but to take shelter in the Palace of Earth Spirits. And so, began the temporary life of the Scarlets and their staffs along with the Komeijis'.
A fluff fic where residents of the SDM live together with the Chireiden pack.
