Another summer ends as everyone in Gensokyo eagerly awaits the arrival of Fall. Sanae is primed to kick off the harvest season when Kanako assigns her a curious task: investigate a complaint from the wolf tengu about an unusual amount of trash in Genbu Ravine, rumored to be the work of the kappa. After Ranma Saotome stopped to listen to the Jusenkyo guide, and listened to his explanation of the various cursed springs - he was certain to talk his father out of using this area like any other training ground. Unfortunately for him, his father didn't listen - and launched him into a restricted spring at the far end of the land of cursed springs. What would have been an impossible gift to anyone else - flight, magic, strength beyond what he had ever experienced before - only served to take away everything Ranma ever had to define his existence.

Junko's life is in disarray as she tries to cope with her bleak life while raising her teen son Bofeng. But once her son gives her his old VR setup, Junko secretly buys this hot new multiplayer VR danmaku game, and she becomes addicted to it. But this ends up causing her to cross paths with her son in-game. This leads to them developing a relationship in-game, Bofeng not knowing the other player is actually his mother, and Junko not knowing the other player is actually her son. This leads to them being thrown into a completely shocking mess.

One of my favorite things about the Touhou Project is the sheer creative freedom it offers for fans, every aspect of the world and characters has many factors up to interpretation, to the point where every fan has a slightly different idea of how 'Touhou' works. resulting in a personal Gensokyo of sorts.
