Yang looked dead, almost was dead, and Blake should've realised sooner. Maybe they would've had more time together, before Adam inevitably found her again.
Blake knows now, and she can't stay.

Let it be known that Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna left Beacon in drastically different states. Weiss was dragged kicking and screaming from the foot of the tower, her eyes still burning from the blinding silver light, her ears still ringing from Ruby’s scream. Blake ran away silently, leaving a trail of blood behind that only Sun used to follow.
Their exits did have several things in common, however. They were forced away by their abusers. They each thought they might never see their team again.
And neither of them knew that Pyrrha Nikos was dead.

Weiss has returned home, Blake has disappeared, and Yang is stuck in the house as her parents try to train her to go back out into the world. None of this has stopped Ruby Rose. She has formed Team RNJR, and against her uncle's and father's wishes, she has begun her journey to Mistral's Haven Academy, to track down Cinder Fall and her cohorts, to put a stop to their schemes. What she doesn't realize is that powers far bigger than she could ever imagine have taken an interest in her and her abilities. As she journeys across Remnant, she begins to hear rumors of The Black Queen. Little does she or her friends know that they will all soon be affected by this Black Queen, as she begins to spread her influence across Remnant. Beacon was only the beginning, and now, Salem, The Black Queen, is ready to move to phase two of her master plan.

Weiss shoots upright.
It’s silent, utterly and completely, silent.
She huffs, gasps, in and out, over and over and over as she attempts to unscramble the mess that is her brain.
It’s dark, but not as dark as her room was, and her bed is noticeably less cold.
She keeps huffing for breath, for some reason, it feels as if her heart is attempting to escape her chest, like each heaving motion can’t bring in enough oxygen for her lungs. She gasps and splays her hands across her chest in an attempt to feel the rising and falling and convince herself that she’s okay, that she’s all in one piece.
But she can’t hear anything else.
