When was it the last time he went to varanda again? Oh. Forget it. It was just an ordinary plant vase. He supposed he could ask Eleonor about it. But that gave him a bitter feeling in the pit of his stomach: since when were they so out of sync about their house disposition? That was probably just the tip of the iceberg, considering their respective careers, the education of their son and, of course, their marriage in a fucking stupid crisis.
