Summary
“Hunter,” the beast rumbled, its voice both resonating and muffled as if underwater. “Listen to me, for I have a particular quarry for you. There is an Ekon by name of Jacob Blackwood whose sins are countless and reprehensible. He gorges himself on blood with no sense of restraint and he tortures and mutilates the most defenseless victims he can find. And you, on my behalf, are going to make him pay penance for it.”
“You are going to kill him,” it continued, authoritative and matter-of-fact, “and no matter if you burn or stake him, he will reform the subsequent night. So you will kill him again, and again, and again, until he feels at least a fraction of the humiliation and agony he’s caused. Once that’s done, we’ll be able to end this."
Jacob Blackwood assumed that he could throw his heart and soul to the flames with impunity. After all, he was an Immortal, and a particularly powerful one at that - it would take more than a few human hunters and self-righteous Ekons to force him to leave this world and face God's judgement. Unfortunately, the devil was more than happy to close that gap.

Normally he would consider that description to be a bit over dramatic but as he watched the shadows form beneath their feet at the beckoning of a cornered and panicked Dr. Jonathan Reid, he found it very fitting.

Summary
The epidemic is reaching its climax as both the Spanish Flu and the Skal disease are spreading fast over London ; Jonathan Reid, feeling that the mystery surrounding those disasters is about to be uncovered, suddenly loses a battle against the ever-meddling Priwen and falls into a slumber from which he doesn’t seem to rise. To the unaware Pembroke staff, strange events are slowly taking place since their colleague’s coma and, one in particular, cannot but wonder about the true nature of their fight : are Strickland and the hospital staff confronted to “just” waves of the epidemic, or… Can there be something else pulling the strings behind the curtains ?
Alternative version of the game diverging from Swansea’s fate decision, where Jonathan is unconscious for several days and Strickland, suddenly haunted by his mentor, makes worrisome discoveries and gets involved in quite distressing situations… even for a fully accomplished doctor like himself.

"Finally decide to join the living, Reid?" The jab, though normally in jest, was a sign fostered in good intentions over the years. Though now, Jonathan couldn't help but wince slightly at the bitterness that seeped into Geoffrey's voice.
"What happened here, McCullum?" His attention was split between the disheveled hunter, adorned in similar robes as himself though far more stained and torn in places from a hard fought battle. Jonathan had a sense that Geoffrey wore them well, despite it not being normal for the hunter. It was fitting, with the undying confidence he exuded everywhere he went.
"These aren't like any skals or sewer beasts I've ever seen before." Jonathan lamented.
"Cause they aren't vampires." Geoffrey spoke frankly.
"What? Then what are they?"
"Ever heard of an Oni?" Geoffrey asked, carefully sliding the blade back into the sheath until it was snug. He admired the weapon a moment more, neglecting to meet Jonathan's eye as he did so. A subtle sign that he was thinking on something hard.
"No."
"They're like demons from Japanese mythology." Geoffrey added, distracted as he looked around the room at the growing puddles of putrid bodies.

Summary
After the unfortunate series of events that led to Lady Elisabeth Ashbury's demise and the subsequente return of Jonathan Reid to London with his metaphorical tail between his legs, the good doctor moves back into his childhoood home and spends most of his free time in the company of his mother, which is precisely how he ends up in the charity event during which a Night on the Town, in the company of a very familiar vampire hunter, is being auctioned.
"That man-" Emelyne Reid asks. "Do you know him?"
"Yes, he’s… a friend," Jonathan quietly explains.
"Oh? We should bid on him, then," she replies, raising her paddle with a giggle before Jonathan can tell her otherwise. The auction caller acknowledges their bid, confirming the increment, and she sighs, "Oh, this is fun. Isn’t this fun, Jonny?"
Jonathan is not inclined to agree, but doesn't have the heart to contradict her either.

Summary
The leech doctor had shaken his convictions, stripped him of his main reason to fight. Could it be truly possible for a vampire to not be a remorseless murderer?
The truth was that he didn’t want to kill Reid anymore, at least not the Reid that gave out medicine in the poorer districts of London and ate rats in dark alleys to avoid feeding on humans. Geoffrey wanted him to slip up, kill someone so he could at last put the matter to rest. But even if he did, how would he end him? Just a few hours ago, he had struggled to off a few stray skals. His stamina was failing and his reflexes slowing. His current athletic skills paled in comparison to when-
Geoffrey’s eyes flicked to the pocket where he always kept the flask. No, it wasn’t a good idea. He rationally knew that it was a mistake. He had always been told not to use it unless it was absolutely necessary, and only have a few droplets.

Jonathan Reid left London believing it was cleansed of the blood of hate, yet one particular fiend went overlooked. While this can't stay hidden from the Guard for long, an already dangerous vampire hunt manages to draw in further threats upon Priwen.
**I've been sitting on this for quite a while- promising myself I'll work on it again. ...Probably not a promise I should make... but this first chapter is a fairly self contained story of hunting vampires one dark and frigid night, besides the lead-off at the end, so I'll just post it for now and pretend I'll get back to writing this sometime.**

“What the fuck?” Geoffrey blurted as he stared at the absolute horror that befell his afternoon. He wasn’t entirely certain what led to the strange events laid before him as he wracked his brain for some semblance of an answer. This morning he quietly dozed off on the leather sofa after his jog and checking the extensive emails from work, and now well, he was puzzled.
Jonathan was standing in their shared kitchen with a navy and azure striped suit over a red polka dot shirt. A white belt around his waist and a similar blue cravat tied stylishly around his throat.
As much as he despised the look, he couldn’t help but notice the way it accentuated the doctor’s hips and thighs by the snug fit. It loosened around the knees as he leaned with his hip against the counter. A series of maps and notes spread across the kitchen counter where his fingertips traced leylines obsessively. “Good morning, Geoffrey!” He chimed excitedly, turning to face the EMT with a smile that went beyond the rare reserved delight of the man. He stepped closer with a sway to his hips that made Geoffrey question whether or not this was some weird sort of roleplaying game that Jonathan had concocted, or maybe a prank of some kind?
