Dream is smiling, but George can't tell if the sentence is pointed and sharp, or if it just hurts. "Yep," he says weakly, but he's readying to swing a playful fist, "But all bro does on his streams is talk about me. You're like, obsessed with me, still."
At that last word, Dream fixes him with such a stare that George wants to creep back into his shell again.

at first, the dreamnotfound jokes were just that—jokes. harmless teasing from fans, from their friends, even from dream himself. george would roll his eyes, laugh it off, maybe throw back a sarcastic remark. it was all in good fun.
but then, at some point, the jokes stopped feeling so ridiculous. maybe it was the way dream looked at him sometimes, like george was the only person in the room. or the way george caught himself missing dream more than he probably should. or the way his heart did that stupid little thing whenever dream called him "love" in that playful tone—except it didn’t feel so playful anymore.
george hated it. he hated how much space dream was starting to take up in his head. he hated how the dumb jokes had somehow planted a seed of doubt, of curiosity, of something he wasn’t ready to name.

George has spent the last decade partying through school. First college, then university, and now uni again for his doctorate. He's fucked his way through every campus he's set foot on and that didn't change when he transferred to America for his masters degree a few years back. Especially now that his parents have a harder time breathing down his neck. The distance is a breath of fresh air that he knows is fleeting. Their wealth and influence is like a death grip around George's neck at times and he's dreading the arranged marriage he knows is coming as soon as he's done with school in the states. He needs to make this time last as long as possible.
Sapnap is in his final year of undergrad, ready to take on all his classes while tutoring the fraternity his childhood best friend is part of for a bit of cash to help out his parents. He doesn't party or smoke or any of that stuff people his age seem to always be doing when he sees them. He does his homework, tutors frat boys, and tries his best to get out of Dream's attempts at "turning him into a man". All he needs to do is get through this year and he'll finally be on his way to making his family proud. At least, he hopes so.

“They’re going to go on about responsibilities and all that, I dunno, wasn’t feeling it this morning.” The latter gestures towards Koa, “I took Koa and went out riding, we ended up near here so thought, let's go see if bakery boy is here.”
George deadpans, “So thoughtful.” George looks towards Arabella, she’s gotten brave and gone towards Koa. “Why am I called Bakery boy?”
