This is a novelization of the video game, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. All rights go to Nintendo. This story will be a retelling of what happens in the popular Super Nintendo video game along with some elements of the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past manga created by Akira Himekawa.
Edit: I changed the finale to make the king and Longfellow come back to life. The reason why is that the king is appearing in Echoes of Wisdom and my new Echoes of Wisdom fic will be a sequel to this novel and the Koholint Island novel.

Fruit went tumbling out of a basket she was carrying, and Link scurried to help her pick them up. “I’m so sorry!”
Link looked up to finally get a good look at her, his eyes meeting hers and then proceeding to widen. “Malon?”
She shook her head. “Sorry, you must have me confused with someone else."
...All the familiar faces that Link has met over the years have some meaning to him, one way or another. From the guy who reminds him of his uncle, to the simpering girl who looks like a crazy one he met on an uncharted island, to eight others wearing versions of his own face. One in particular, though, meant more to him than any other in any world or era.

Fluff written for “LU Discord Prompt Week 100: Gardening” because I saw that prompt and immediately thought of Legend’s Orchard from the ALttP manga.
