He’s taken to kissing her temple when she comes home, a gesture she remembers her father doing for her mother. In the beginning, it was just a smile. A smile became brushing her fingers with his own to pass over her morning tea. A touch became a kiss. She starts leaning into him instinctively, awaiting the press of his lips to her hairline. He smiles when she does.
