This is a massive project of anthologies that I didn't want to lose in my growing pile of ideas, there will be lots of broken and unfinished pieces, this I consider to be one of my greatest, longstanding achievements and I do hope you appreciate the love and thought that I've put into it as much as I do.
This work deals with all kinds of subject matter, some not suitable for regular audiences, so I will provide a fair warning to all readers. This is a very NSFW post, containing rape, violence, and mature content. Please be advised before reading, a content warning will be provided per chapter it concerns so you may avoid certain pieces. Summary
Maiev Shadowsong has made a lot of mistakes in her long life...not least of which was falling madly in love with Illidan Stormrage, the man who hated her--and the man she killed. So when Maiev is given the quest to resurrect Illidan during the events of Legion, Maiev doesn't know if she can save his soul from oblivion...or learn how to live with him afterwards. This is a story about trauma and trust, and the capacity to forgive.
This fic is a sequel to my previous Illidan x Maiev story, Prey, and makes quite a few references to it. In *this* story, I'm going to attempt to follow some of the broad storylines from Legion, just rewritten to give Maiev and Illidan some desperately-needed character growth. They both deserve to have some good things happen to them, and I guess I'm foolish enough to attempt to do it.
I post new chapters in the first week of every month. (Sorry. I am not a fast writer.)

Summary
In an attempt to corrupt Anduin Wrynn, Onyxia infused the child with her draconic powers. Her plans went unsuccessful as she was killed before corruption properly took effect, and knowledge of Anduin's edited biology went with her to the grave. Anduin is now 17 years old and Azeroth is unknowingly soon to be invaded by the Legion. Efforts from a concerned hunter lead to citywide panic as it appears that the prince standing beside the throne is really a black dragon in disguise...
(IMPORTAT: This story is abandoned, however chapter 16-18 include ALL my notes, giving you a decent look into how the story was meant to end. Thank you so much for reading this <3)

A different outcome to "Undeniably": In a timeline that evades the Burning Legion's notice, Ner'zhul's and Gul'dan's demons are entirely their own as they navigate their new relationship. Never having known of the fel, Gul'dan is struggling to cope with a life where his limited power means limited security. Ner'zhul is tired of his many duties, desperate for love and freedom and often feeling guilt for his desires. The road to a balanced life is a long one, especially with these troubling new magical disturbances in the valley, but at least the journey is lighter with a companion.
