Really good, interesting concept and great excecution 10/10. At pahui, Aang takes the shot instead of Zuko, they make it out and turns out Aang is fatally wounded. Zuko heals him, this changes things. Zuko joins Aang at the fight against Zhao with the boats but keeps his distance with Aang. Zuko almost dies twice on the way to the North And Aang feels it because they are 'spiritually bonded' , they siege happens, Aang and Zuko bond more during the kidnapping and Zuko is captured. Zuko is made a prisoner but is also very injured from various sources at this point so they heal him. Aang talks with Zuko but the Convo goes south when Zuko is pissed about the deaths of his soldiers. Pakku has planned for Zukos escape courtesy of Iroh and the White Lotus, Zuko is made, Aang is concerned, and Sokka and Katara are distrustful.

Summary
After his Agni Kai, Zuko flees the Fire Nation without Iroh or his crew. He finds himself stranded, alone, and injured in the Earth Kingdom when taken in and raised as a healer and farmer by an Earth Kingdom couple. He finds new ways to use his bending and to influence in the changing of the war with new understanding of himself, his bending, and the war. As someone with new perspectives and influence he is able to provide a greater understanding of being a teacher, warrior, and friend when meeting the gaang.

Summary
Zuko doesn't know what would have happened if he'd stayed. Maybe his father would have humiliated him further maybe he would have changed his mind (unlikely), but whatever choice he would have made Zuko made it for him. A person can only take so much before they break after all and waking up alone and in pain was the final straw for the 13 year old boy. He's lucky he ended up where he did.
3 years after the Agni Kai that left him blind and deaf on the left side of his face Zuko lives as the adopted nephew of a small town's healer. The villagers have long stopped caring about the fire dancing over his finger tips since he's proved he only uses it to brew their medicine.
Lee has no desire to be dragged back into his father's war, but what can he do when he's the only firebender in the Earth Kingdom that the avatar he was once tasked with hunting down can hope to learn from? -

Summary
Zuko was cast out of the fire nation without warning, without a crew, and worse without his uncle. His father had made his mission more then impossible, and with a fresh burn covering a third of his face he wasn't sure how far he could make it. When he gets offered a chance to escape the hell inflicted on him he takes it and doesn't look back.
3 years later he's living a new life with a new name. The town's people don't care that he can light a candle across the room when he's been helping heal their wounds for so long. But someone does care, and that someone needs a teacher.

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.
