Lupin looks tired, reminding Severus that the last full moon was just two nights ago. The wooden, blank look falls off his scarred features as he comes closer, and when Severus pulls the other boy further into safety behind the tall stacks of books, Lupin's lips curve up into a small smile.
"Important conversation?" The library is quiet at this time of day, and his soft murmur sounds loud among the wooden bookshelves.
"Yes," Severus responds with seriousness, "and not a pleasant one either."
