Summary
There were many ways to describe the blue paladin lance, loud, obnoxious, basically any synonym for loud and over dramatic. And Lance is fine as those are the words people know him as , but it kind of gets annoying when you're a 17 year old in space with no contact with your family and all people do is tell you to shush or they don't listen to your opinions. Lance isn't dumb he's actually pretty smart but just because he doesn't often show that he's smart doesn't mean that he should be treated like this, at least that's what he thinks right. I mean he's not a genius like hunk or pidge, or the princess or the leader like shiro or a galran or smt like Keith…or special in anyway, he's just plain old Lance and that should be enough right. But the team doesn't listen to him his opinions get brushed off,heck he just died a few days ago and no one else knew…Lance is just tired and the other seemed to notice but instead of I don't know being good teammates and asking him what's wrong they just assume that he's being lazy and brush him off.
Or
Lance is tired, he misses his family, he thinks the group hates him , he died, and he doesn't want to fight in a war that wasn't his in the first place.

The team was all led to a tent, and lance lifted a sheet from on top of a crib. He saw a tiny purple child, laying there, wailing rather loudly. Well, more like an infant, as this one was extremely small, and almost could be classified as newborn by appearance alone. Lance was no stranger to crying babies, even if this one was lilac and furry, and his uncle instincts kicked in, scooping up the child.
“Lance- what are you doing?!” Keith exclaimed, rather panicked at the sight of some living thing being so small and fragile.
~~~~~~In other words, the team finds a baby that is particularly attached to Keith due to Galra heritage, and Lance is the only other person on the castle lions that has experience with babies. Through caring for the child, they discover more about themselves, and each other.

Keith had been trailing silently behind her, she could hear his light footsteps in the sand, and the light crackle of his breathing over the intercom, but besides that there was no indication of his presence.
When they were about twenty minutes from where they started, Pidge heard a small grunt in her earpiece, she stopped in her tracks, spinning around and eyeing Keith carefully.
He was staring at his side, where a small blowdart was sticking out from the black under armour of his suit. She watched as he plucked it out and studied it with confusion layered on his face. A few more of the darts littered the sand by his feet, as if they had intended to hit him multiple times, or maybe they had been aiming at the both of them.
“Are you okay?” She asked, eyeing the horizon wearily, but she could find nothing.
Keith looked at her, still holding the small projectile, “I think so? But we should run.”

“Look. It was not a prank. You called the Divine Relief Office. They sent me to grant you a wish.” He sounds so certain. So firm. Almost exasperated. But Keith doesn’t believe him. Not one bit. He’s not going to be made fun of like this.
“You’re literally a student at the Garrison,” Keith says flatly. “You’re just a guy. Just a cadet. You’re literally in a college dorm with a suitcase.”
Lance’s nose scrunches, upper lip curling. He lifts his chin slightly. “I’m a student now, but I’m not just some guy. I’m a God of Happiness. More powerful than you could ever imagine. I have the power to mold and shape the world around me. I’m only here, pretending to be human, because you made a wish. And I’m granting it.” He holds his arms wide, shit-eating grin curling mockingly, and Keith feels the dread curling in his gut. “Congratulations. I’m now required to be your boyfriend forever.”
Keith accidentally calls the Divine Relief Office and is granted one wish. Lance is sent to grant the wish. But Keith thinks it’s a prank. He mockingly wishes for Lance to be his boyfriend and the wish gets granted. Surprising everyone. Now Lance is stuck on Earth, pretending to be human, and Keith is stuck with Lance.

It had been about half a deca-phoeb since Keith had been transferred from the main Galra cruiser to the prince’s ship. It was called a ‘transfer’ but Keith saw it more as a demotion for being such a pain to deal with. Being stuck as the bratty prince’s servant was well below his skill level. He was a trained Galra soldier, one of the best if measured by pure skill alone instead of blind obedience. But now here he was with many other half-blood Galra soldiers: Lotor’s favourite kind apparently considering his entire team was filled with them.
