Crowley helps Aziraphale overcome his insecurities, with the help of a bowl of pastry cream.
“Heya, Angel, since when do you cook?” Crowley leans on the doorframe, arms crossed, head cocked and brows furrowed in mild surprise and curiosity.
“I'm not cooking. I'm baking. And I've dabbled ever since the lovely Antonin Carême kindly gave me lessons in, oh it must have been around 1815.”
“And were those hands-on lessons?” Crowley replies with a suggestive quirk of the mouth.
“Well, yes, of course. How else would I learn what choux paste feels like when it's properly cooked?” Aziraphale knows very well what the fiend is insinuating, but refuses to give him the satisfaction of being embarrassed by it. They both know that Aziraphale has dabbled in more than just baking over the centuries. Not often, and never in any serious way, but enough to have some sense of what the fuss is all about. Enough that his eyes and thoughts have been known to wander over Crowley's full lower lip and the flutter of his throat and his long, elegant fingers with indecent curiosity.

Aziraphale was in a few relationships during their friendship but none of them lasted long. Then Aziraphale met Gabriel and after a year of relationship they got engaged. It broke Crowley's heart. Moreover, Aziraphale asked him to be his best man and he could not refuse, even though it was a terrible idea. Aziraphale deserved better than Gabriel. Crowley decided to at least give Aziraphale a stag party to remember. The one that Aziraphale was going to enjoy. He couldn't know it would change everything.

“I’m sorry, I-I wasn’t sure w-when to say something!” Aziraphale cried out, stuttering and pulling back from Crowley’s arms, pressing himself to the wall behind him as though pinned. Crowley’s heart broke at the sight, at the hurt and fear in the angel’s eyes.
“Hey, Angel, it’s okay. You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m sorry I pulled back like that, I was just a bit confused since… but it’s okay if it doesn’t happen all the time for you.”
“No, no, that’s not it!” Aziraphale cried out, crossing his hands slightly in front of his body to cover his crotch. “This is perfect, but I’m not… I don’t have…” Aziraphale blushed brightly, avoiding Crowley’s gaze, and suddenly Crowley understood.

Not in 6.000 years Aziraphale would've thought his first kiss with Crowley would be like this. Means, if Aziraphale really ever believed in actually kissing the demon at all. But pressing their lips together forcefully, nothing left to say and going back to heaven has all not been on the list of how Aziraphale imagined it would be.
Now, he might be back on Earth and things with Crowley are sorted out. They can finally live their peaceful existence.
But there's one thing that Aziraphale still has to do: He wants to kiss Crowley the right way. He'll make it right, every time. -
