Dream closed his eyes tight and tried to get his own mind to quiet down. He wasn’t sure if it actually worked or if he just fell asleep, but when he heard a knock at his door he became aware of his surroundings again, sitting up in his bed just in time to see his father enter.
“We made a decision,” he said, his face unreadable. “You will spend the summer with your aunt and use the time to study.” Dream’s brows drew together in confusion.
“You have a sister?” This was very much news to him. His father just rolled his eyes.
“Your aunt on your mother’s side, she has a farm in the countryside. It is very peaceful out there and you will have a lot of time to focus on your studies.”

Now saying ‘I love you’ was more hard to do when you never said it besides in a platonic playful way. George was struggling with coming to terms of saying ‘I love you’ to Dream but lucky for him, Dream reassures him that he already knows the answer.

"Why do you even want me here?” George desperately questions, his voice laced with emotion that he’s trying hard to push away, tears threatening to slip down his cheeks. “Why are you still here? How can you even touch me right now? I'm so-" George cuts himself off with a frustrated sound, staring hatefully at himself in the mirror.
With a smile that’s slightly forced, Dream picks up where George left off by asking, "So gorgeous?"
"Don't mock me," George bites out as he pulls away from Dream’s embrace, crossing his arms over his chest protectively and breathing heavily as he tries his best to stay calm.
Feeling like his heart might shatter into thousands of fractured little pieces, Dream gently takes one of George’s hands in his own as he sadly says with nothing but sincerity, "Oh sweetheart, I'm not mocking you. You're stunning. I wish you could see yourself through my eyes."

The chair started to be lifted slightly to give Amelia a more accessible space to work on his makeup. He felt like a little kid again going to the dentist, and the slightest bit of confidence in his body had immediately disappeared in an instant, but there’s no turning back now, is there?
“Do your magic, Amelia,” With his brows slightly furrowed and his clammy hands bracing the makeup chair, he smiled timidly back at her.
She shot back a confident and playful look. “Oh, trust me, I will.”
