これにて完結。KOFシリーズ新参であるイスラ、シルヴィ、ミアンに対してSNK最古参であるビリーを歴史の重みが違う別格の存在として描きました。KOF自体が現在それほど存在感を示せているとは言えませんが、新しくユニークなキャラたちが最盛期のキャラに劣らない輝きを出してまた躍動すればいいなという期待を込めています。イスラは多くの人に発見されれば盛り上がる逸材だと思います。最後まで面白かったのはシルヴィで書いてて色んなシチュエーションや台詞が次々と浮かびます。調子に乗ってパロディを多数やらせていますが、日本語圏の人以外には通じにくいもので申し訳ないです。シルヴィはまた別の話を考案中です。ご愛読ありがとうございました。

ギースが怪しい力によく興味を示すのでイスラに立ちはだかる大人としてビリーとハインを登場させましたが、ハインはつい最近まで存在を知らなかったくらいでチェスにも詳しくないため描写はこんなもので完全にビリーの前座です。最初はSNKによくいる変な女性キャラと思っていたシルヴィは陽気な顔に隠された自己肯定感の低さや寂しがりなところが面白く話を書きたくなるキャラです。コミカルに描きつつシリアな彼女を表現していきたいです。

新シリーズはThe King of FightersのIsla、Sylvie、Mianのアート・エンターテインメントのマイナートリオを主人公にしました。KOFはまともにやってたのは97まででそれ以来ほとんどプレイしていなかったのですが、15で初登場したIslaが性格、髪の色、グラフィティ要素、声優と私が心から愛するゲーム『Life is Strange』のChloe Priceと重なっていたため大いに気に入り前作の14もやったらMianとsylvieも気に入り話を書く流れとなりました。KOFにはあまり詳しくないですが、彼女たちを気に入ってるのは本当です。

My attempt at tackling the October Prompts Challenge, KoF style. (Emphasis on 'attempt')
Unlike what it seems like the others might do with their fanfic-takes on the 'KOFtober Prompts Challenge', I'll have several prompts put out within a single chapter, upwards to maybe five maximum in a chapter... (again can't make promises on how that'll turn out)? One thing I won't guarantee from this is whether I'll be able to do all 31 of the month, or if I'll be able to go through that whole month given my brutally-inconsistent pattern of updates.
