But then, the Ferris wheel suddenly stopped working, leaving many riders stuck. For some people, being in such a situation is a panic attack waiting to happen.
But for one particular young couple, a dark-skinned, hung Octoling and his femboy Inkling lover with the thiccest ass in Splatsville, this is a golden opportunity to bump nasties while getting a great view at the top.

Aiden is a normal octoling teenager, attending Inkblot Art Academy. If you look past the ink deficiency. And his inability to get a job due to it. And the crippling student debt.
Manning the rides at Wahoo World isn't really enough to feed him and pay his college fund, so he signs up to be a part-time detective instead. (With a little encouragement from a friend of his) He really doesn't know what he's getting into, or who he'll meet.
Leo is a normal Inkling teenager attending Inkblot Art Academy. Grizzco wages are enough to feed him and pay his college fund, so he's often left with a lot of time on his hands, which he spends helping his friend get a job. He even encourages his friend to sign up for an open part-time detective job, zero qualifications required!-

Chapter 5 was meant to be leo arriving at the mart, my 2 other ocs (freya, inkling and citrine, octoling) being introduced, they both have pink hair but in reality citrine's hair is yellow and she's forcing it to be pink to match freya
Citrine used the octobrush, freya used the dynamo roller
leo gets super injuired because he there's nowhere to respawn, aiden and freya have a roller battle, aiden wins
Freya and citrine could respawn but aiden and leo couldn't, adding more stakes
SHOOT I MISS THIS FIC I SHOULD'VE REVIVED IT
I forgot the MAIN antagonist's name but he was supposed to be messing with Aiden's dreams

Shiver glanced over at the director who was frantically waving their tentacles, a clear sign that it was time to wrap up for the night–right now it was 23:01 so their next announcement would be the next day over.
“And that’s it… for now.” Shiver smiled at the camera, tapping her fan on her stand. A few seconds of awkward silence and Big Man jumped into action, “Ay!” he shouted in his usual comedic voice.
Usually, something like this wouldn’t phase Shiver, but this time was different. There was obviously something going on.
