Sequel Era- Hera and her son join the fighting over Exegol, and Hera becomes increasingly preoccupied with how wrong the battle feels. She makes a drastic decision, saving her son in the process, while also crushing his heart.

For day three of Kanera Week 2021. The prompt was "Ultimate OTP Moment/Night Out"! This is more of a 'night in', as the last couple years have not been great for nights out and honestly I wasn’t going anywhere before all of the quarantine mess either, so I had nothing to pull experience from. A moment of silence for my life in general.
Ezra has been with the crew for a while now, but Sabine says the true dynamic ongoing between his master and their pilot has managed to completely go over their newest crew mate’s head. Zeb doesn’t think it possible for someone not to have noticed.

Spoilers for The Bad Batch (to be specific episodes 1,11, and 12)
Hera let go of the subject with a shrug, "Alright then, do you want to see something fascinating?" She asked eagerly, a small glimmer appearing in her eyes. "Besides this whole planet?" The undercover padawan asked. She nodded, "It's even more fascinating than that, you want to see?"
"Sure," Caleb answered with a wide grin, she seemed very excited about whatever it was, and even though he'd only known her for a couple of minutes, the fact that she was happy made him happy.
"Great, let's go!" Hera exclaimed, suddenly grabbing Caleb's hand and running. He didn't know where she was taking him, but he was more than happy to follow her lead, even if he stumbled a bit
Young Kanera meet for a day of fun while Caleb is stationed on Ryloth with his master, but to avoid Caleb from forming an attatchment with Hera, Depa has no choice but to make them forget about it all. (Dw they meet again and fall in love on Gorse a few years later hehe😉)
