    Siffrin had been out for a year. And even though they didn’t fully understand everything, even though they still wondered what happened to Loop… He was happy.

    But not everything had worked out. Not every wish had been fulfilled, not that Siffrin knew that part. They never learned why Loop “asked to be there”, or what Loop’s true wish was.

    When Siffrin wakes back up in that blinding field, he doesn’t exactly think about the fact that it can’t be as easy as breaking out like he had before. That wouldn’t explain why they were here again, after all.

    It’s not Siffrin’s fault that he doesn’t see the hole tearing its way through Loop’s chest as they hear how EASY things were for him.

    It’s not anyone’s fault that they’re stuck here until feelings and truths are actually addressed.
