Summary
Wilbur Rivers, Lord of Phoenix Drop, has a prisoner.
The people of the village whisper about this prisoner, a man rumored to be as cunning as he was charming. With a fanged grin that hid devious intentions and secrets.
There was a time in which Wilbur loved him, this prisoner. Only to discover that the other had been manipulating his instincts. Trying to win his favor, and betting on the idea of Phoenix Drop's rise to power under the elytrian lord's leadership.
The worst part is, the plan had almost worked if it wasn't for Wilbur's head guards.
But even now, Wilbur still visits his prisoner. The former high priest of Lady Kristin, Quackity Nevadas.
They say Wilbur brings him his meals personally, no matter how busy.
Today, Wilbur visits Quackity for a different reason than usual.

Summary

All it had taken was an accidental brush off their hand during a fight for his world to fall apart then come cracking back together somehow filling the gaping hole he never knew was there he didn't know he needed it till he found it, the yang to his yin.
It made him fall backwards when the cord intertwined to his skin to his sole how he could feel the love instantly pouring into him the warmth, the comfort it… scared him.
So he ran.

They were both laughing now, giggles that bounced around the room and off each other, a brilliant tune for their ears only.
“Says the guy who chased me all the way to a different district!”

Ace paused, mulling it over, tapping a talon to his chin. “I… wanted to see you.”

Wilbur was simply strolling through a town on his travels, briefly considered stopping by the local temple to perhaps learn about the gods of this region. For his own curiosity, as most regions had a tendency of worshiping different gods and it was usually good to know about them in case you ran into fanatics. Not that he'd know anything about that.
But before he can even consider the idea further, he's taken from the street to be a sacrifice to the local deities. A pair of gods with domains over Wealth and War.
Wilbur learns, through his death, that the gods themselves were very much against the idea.
