Glimmer was born for this. But, everything is never as it seems, and soon, she'll find out that the Capitol isn't at all what she thought it was.

Could these unknown tributes, enemies by nature of their situation, foster within her a familiarity and fondness so profound it could save them all?
I wrote a very rudimentary version of this back in 2011 when I was 17 years old, and have since decided to rewrite it in 2023. It is a story of family lost, family found, resistance in the face of great adversity, and falling in love even when everything is falling apart.

Similar to her enjoyment of the stars, Clove also found herself looking over to her left, being met with the side profile of her neighbor and best friend Cato Hadley.
