Tenna stands at the mountain's edge, feeling the sun shine completely on his pale white body. He hasn't felt the sun rise in so long...it felt sublime...albeit subliminal. He didn't think he'll be able to see it until now. To have the rays glisten against his chitin like it did years ago.
However, looking at the body in his lower arms, he knew humans don't last that long...or the fact that his beloved mailman presumably went to look for him only to die alone somewhere...thinking about him. He was always so stubborn...so much of a justice-seeking daredevil that he'd persist when it wasn't necessary. If he'd tried, that amount of determination will melt him on the spot!
And now...what became of him as they both looked at the edge of the universe together.
As strong as the human soul is...he knew a reunion wouldn't work if they were both alive.
...But why must it hurt so bad?

After the barrier is broken, Tenna finds Spamton's body and buries it, waking the latter up.

When Chara Dreemurr lay dying in the Hall of Judgement, all they could think about was seeing Rei again, wrapping their arms around their fluffy brother, and telling him just how sorry they were that they couldn't protect him, that they couldn't protect them all, from their twisted reflection.
What they didn't expect after their eyes shut was for them to open again in an unfamiliar room inside something called a hospital with their wounds cleaned and tended to before being taken into the care of a doppelganger of their mother and what seemed to be a second reflection, named Kris.
What they expected even less was to find themselves part of a prophecy that foretold the world's destruction and how it would be saved by Four Heroes: two humans, one a noble warrior, strange and mischievous yet just and brave, the other, a devilish rogue from parts known yet unknown, a monster, brash and bold, and a lonely prince from the dark.
But, what Chara didn't expect least of all, was them and Kris growing closer over the course of their adventures... and coming to see each other not merely as reflections in some unseen mirror, but as something more, something deeper, something intimate.

It happened so quickly. One minute, he was standing upright, using height and his soft paws to water the golden flowers at the Ruins. The next, he was at eye level with them. The watering can clattered to the side now that it lacked arms to lift it. The remaining liquid bled outward, drowning whatever poor blossoms were unfortunate enough to absorb all that excess water.
Internally, rainbow hues of longing, grief, happiness, and bittersweet feelings eroded to shades of gray.
“Guess that’s it, huh.” Flowey said, staring up at the open world above them. He bobbed on his stem, confirming the inevitable damnation back to his stunted, soulless form.
Well, at least he wasn’t the only one stuck like this.
