Summary
Another fall out of Darth Plagueis by Mr. Luceno. And again the knowledge of this novel is required, albeit not mandatory. And as usually, this is not a work of commerce (even if a member of the IGBC plays a role in it), but pure fandom. Ah, and it has spelling and grammar errors, which I hope some day to correct with the help of a betareader.
When for you the revelation of Darth Vader's origin in TPM by his mother Shmi Skywalker came like a shock, and when you also felt a bit disappointed by what was further revealed on the issue in the novel Darth Plagueis, then you might find interest in this story by a fan who likes to write a slightly different universe.

After Din returns to Tatooine to lay low for a while, he decides to cast off his armor for being a dar’manda now until he figures out what and who he wants to be. To earn some credits for his livelihood and a new ship, he accepts some small jobs until he gets into something concerning the empire. After being captured by them, they test a newly created substance, called M-Serum, on him in order to create a new generation of warriors for the empire. But after the experiments fail, Din is left to die in the sands of Tatooine. But no one knows, that he was actually the only test object, the substance had an effect on.
