Summary
Written for MCU fans unfamiliar with the StarCraft universe. This attempts to turn the "Wings of Liberty" campaign into a much broader and more compelling story. Some early dialogue is taken more or less verbatim from SC2, other dialogue is heavily modified, and the plot diverges in subtle ways that become more significant as it goes.
Steve Rogers is head of a band of notorious outlaws rebelling against a tyrannical regime spanning dozens of star systems. Tony Stark is a brilliant engineer whose quick wit is matched only by the burdens he bears. Bruce Banner is the frazzled head researcher at a terraforming colony. Clint Barton is an elite government assassin on the run. The Winter Soldier is the head of a ravenous alien swarm and possibly the greatest threat mankind has faced thus far. And Loki has plans... oh yes, Loki has plans.

........oh, and I really do apologize for the utter dearth of major female characters. Neither SC2 nor MCU have especially good female representation, and something about the amalgam exacerbated that. I'll see what I can do about that going forward, but no promises.

A group of unconnected stories of Marvel characters doing what they do best when their hearts are broken.
Wanda has to fight Thanos again after what feels like five minutes since she lost Vision. She has to face the man who sent Loki, which made Tony create Ultron which killed Pietro. She has to face the man who she just watched kill Vision. She doesn’t get to grieve, she has a job to do.
Foggy and Karen need to keep working on a case after Matt disappears. Flying with a missing engine is hard in the best circumstances but not knowing if Matt is alive is eating them alive. They tried to postpone the trial due to it but the court didn’t allow it. They don’t get to process anything, they have a case to win.
Yelena is about to face the man she believes killed her sister. She doesn’t choose him as her target but she does accept it. What she doesn’t expect is that he is running around with someone who banters with her during fights like Natasha did. She wants to become friends with this girl but they are on opposite sides. She doesn’t get the chance to heal in a healthy way, she has a target to take out.

Summary
The Who’s classic song “Behind Blue Eyes” always makes me think of Matt Murdock. This story is the result. It’s a story about what might have happened between the end of Daredevil season 2 and the beginning of The Defenders. It begins with the conversation between Matt and Karen at his apartment after he reveals he is Daredevil, picking up at the end of the flashback in episode 1 of season 3. It ends with the earthquake in episode 1 of The Defenders. In between, there is a lot of Lawyer Matt in chapters 2 and 3. And I fixed his big courtroom scene.

Unknown to everyone, Marie runs an online blog called "The Purpose" and hides her identity through the name "The Seeker". Through her 'investigative journalism' and exposes, Marie has exposed many thugs and criminals. Many of these individuals would love to get their hands on the Seeker.
But when Marie gets into a sticky situation following a lead, she meets the ever-mysterious (and handsome) Matt Murdock, who she knows something is up with, but she just can't put her finger on. Neither can Matt for her, he just can't understand why Marie won't share whatever secret she is hiding from him.

This takes place after The Punisher season 2, episode 11 after the hospital scene but the timeline is not completely accurate to Daredevil and Punisher. Karen keeps having flashbacks and night terrors which involve Frank and she believes he has disappeared off to another state to get away from her, while Frank has been keeping track of her this entire time. While Foggy and Matt are trying to push Karen away from Frank, Amy is trying to help Frank come to the terms of them being in love with each other. Will they finally meet again or will Frank finally give up the idea of being with her ?

Yes, I did wait until the last possible second to post 🙃
And yes, I followed none of the prompt days (I think this falls under frosty friday, tradition thursday, and festive friday?? Maybe?)
Anyway here is a reunion fic, post TPS2. It’s the holidays, Karen is waiting for a package to arrive but Frank arrives instead, and it’s angsty cause of course it is.
Inspiration came from all over this time. It just might be a Christmas miracle that I didn’t find a scenario to rip off and make it Kastle for this fic. Huzzah!
