In the calm following the events of the Devil’s Playhouse, Max time travels to reunite with Sam after the original’s death. In doing so, Max unintentionally sets off a giant domino effect that would be felt for generations after; not only did his and Sam’s timeline merge into one, but portals to other dimensions were ripped open in a forced, chaotic introduction that turned the multiverse on its head. In the chaos following the Great Universal Calamity, or the GUK for short as coined by Mama Bosco, occurred increasingly random and bizarre events: reanimating the dead, reversing gravity, making sentient toasters, blinking people out of existence and… creating babies? Not only do Sam and Max now have to juggle their home becoming the epicenter hub of newly opened dimensions but also raising an infant that strangely has their DNA and, just their luck, is a freakishly strong psychic.
And what to do when twelve years later said infant grows into a sarcastic and loner pre-teen that spends all her time in her Sub-basement-turned-laboratory? Send her off to a psych-summer camp of course!

Duckula almost threw up at the size of the price, but wordlessly managed to pay for his food. He was also able to squeeze out a “Can I have my receipt please?” before taking the purchased snacks and drinks. Igor had returned from the loo at this point, apparently having encountered a ridiculously long line of people in there.
“If only I had brought my portable guillotine,” Igor muttered in frustration as the trio trudged their way to the auditorium where the film was being shown.
Duckula didn’t notice his butler’s current misery, as he was too busy rambling quotes from the movie. “‘Luke, I am your father,’” he said before giggling giddily in excitement. “Oooh, I can’t wait, I can’t wait! Luke Skywaddler and Hen Solo, here we come!”

“Oh no- oh no no no no no!!” Duckula lifted his index finger and pressed it to Igor’s beak disapprovingly, eyebrows furrowed. “You’re not getting out of this so easily!"

In one swift motion, he had the sheets off and was scurrying silently down the hall towards the nearest bathroom. He leapt inside and quickly shut the door behind him, flipping on the light switch at the same time. “I thought I told Nanny more than once to get rid of those dang bedbugs,” Duckula muttered to himself as he pulled his pajama top up over his head. He tossed it onto the counter and started at the sight that awaited him as he looked in the mirror. Well, there was the obvious fact that he couldn’t see himself in the mirror. But that was something he was used to. What the Count wasn’t used to was the sight of a large, strange-looking bug apparently suspended in mid-air- at least that’s what he saw from his reflection (or rather, his lack of). He whipped his head down and gasped as his eyes locked onto the bug, which had apparently fastened itself to his chest and was biting him.
And it was definitely not a bed bug.
