I'm new to Archive, so criticism would be appreciated :)I didn't know that Spawn/Lime girl was canon. At the time I wrote this fic (around last year) I didn't know, so I shipped Fire ring and Spawn together. Lime girl and Cozy are together in this fic (but like near the end smh)
I haven't seen a single fic that exceeded 5k that isn't smut so I decided to write one lol

Loud knocks echoed through Spawner's tiny abode.
He felt a flutter in his chest, pushing it down again as he got up from the couch to unlock the door. He had gotten better, talking to Lime Girl more. He was smiling more too, and for what felt like the first time in a while he felt himself feel a little happy somedays.
Yet somehow his eyes always trailed back to the empty space on the shelf.
The knocks came again, this time louder, and Spawner walked over to the door, hands trembling slightly.
“Hey, Spawner.”
A sheepish face stared back, melting ice cream in his hands. That signature red flame around his eye, that now darted around nervously.
“F-fire ring…” Spawner took a step back. He could feel his desperate gaze on him, but Spawn had worked so hard already. He had already tried to forget about Ring. He was already trying to move on. Why was it that now that he was doing so well his ex-bestfriend came knocking on his doorstep?
OR
Fire Ring comes knocking on Spawn's door again. This takes place after achieving the 'good ending'. Perhaps they can fix a broken past together.
