Summary
In Paris, 1832, a group of students known as Les Amis de l'ABC fought to overthrow the monarchy, to bring freedom to the people of France. Nine of that group, along with others, would sacrifice their lives for the cause.
They weren't very good at sitting back and enjoying the afterlife. And, so, they would return to try to change the world once more.
In Paris, 2012, there is a need for social change. A group of students has united to do their part. This time, there are no armies trying to kill them. Life has a way of throwing all manner other things in their paths.

As he stood on Platform 9¾, Combeferre was struck by how serene he felt. He could feel Courfeyrac beside him, fidgeting and bouncing about, reminding Combeferre of a puppy. But he felt nothing but calm. He supposed it was because he was older than Courfeyrac – Combeferre hadn't wanted to leave all his friends behind, so he waited to go to Hogwarts with them. Still, though, he had expected butterflies. He was almost disappointed.
And so the story begins, with the ABC stepping into the wonderful world of Hogwarts.

When they go out dancing at bars, at Grantaire's request, Jehan notices that all the ladies Courfeyrac dance with are surprisingly thin. He takes this to heart and lapses into a viscous eating disorder.

It isn't an intervention.
There's no surprise wake-up call, no tears. None of that saccharin, stereotypical intervention stuff. There isn't even a real 'thing' to intervene for, no alcohol or drugs, just a brain with too little dopamine or serotonin, and a body that's tearing itself apart. It's too slow to be an intervention, with the sluggish, gentle integration of others into a life that's so far gone, trying to anchor it before it's too late.
It isn't an intervention.

Summary
In a not-so-distant future, human cops and androids partner up to protect and serve.
Grantaire is an Ex-Cop, dragged back into the force to help take down Patron-Minette, whom targeted himself and his team on a previous case. Suffice to say, he doesn't really like the bots.
Feuilly, being his boss, has much the same issue as he does. He cared about those who passed because of the targeting, but can do no more about it.
But once Grantaire has re-joined the team, things don't quite... work out.

Summary
The end of the world happened quietly. Not like it was trying to sneak up on them, but like it knew that it had all of the time it wanted to slowly roll in and take out anyone and everyone that it wanted.
Jehan packed their bags and was ready by the time Grantaire showed up at the door with an RV and a group of their friends. For a while, it was okay, they found a spot near the city, where the evacuation was happening, and just sat. Jehan, Grantaire, Cosette, Joly, Bossuet, and Musichetta; it was almost like a vacation from their regular lives. None of them actually witnessed what was happening, only heard the horror stories on their little TV. Eponine and Gavroche joined them on the way out of the city, after the Walkers took that over, too. They found both of them hiding on a fire escape.
It was two weeks after that when Jehan hears Bahorel's voice over the handheld radio.

Day One: Hogwarts
Jehan just sighs again, like this is the most ridiculous thing they've ever seen (they've both seen Enjolras and Grantaire doing their strange little dance around each other, so he knows that's not true). They pluck a worn, leather-bound book from their bag, propping it up on the table. Bahorel watches for a moment, the way the sun from the window catches in Jehan's hair, how the flowers they've braided into it are just strong enough for Bahorel to smell them. He doesn't notice how Jehan reads silently to themself, lips forming the words softly and too quickly for Bahorel to catch what they are. He doesn't do that.
He goes back to reading (and if he glances at Jehan every so often, that's his problem, isn't it?).

Grantaire moves into the apartment across from Enjolras and spends the afternoon unpacking with Jehan. When his friend leaves and Grantaire is alone, Enjolras ventures out into the hallway. The sight that greets him leaves him gasping and Enjolras' panicked state somehow leads to an impromptu dinner date with Grantaire. Confusion and kissing ensues.
