Summary
Several months after Link had woken up and departed from Kakariko Village, Hyrule has fallen into a greater state of calamity than before.
With the hero missing, the champions dead, and Calamity Ganon growing more powerful than ever, the fate of the kingdom lies in the hands of the only person who can save it now.And who else is it? Other than the fabled Princess Zelda.
After months of honing her skills, the princess turned hero now faces an enemy greater than anyone could ever predict. Will she defeat this malicious beast? Or will she fall victim to the doubts and worries of becoming savior? Only time will tell.(based off of an AU mod concept, but this 'mod concept' had become so story-driven, I figured it'd work better as a fanfiction instead [also I don't know how to mod at all] Please enjoy!)

~~~Link stared skyward, the dragon he had seen countless times throughout his lifetime idly flying overhead. Its cry resonates through the open sky as it weaves through the clouds to return to the trajectory.
The hero sank to their knees at the small crater in which the tear had once been, now surrounded by the princess’ favorite flowers. As soon as the white dragon's tail vanished into the cloud, the decorated knight, hero of the kingdom, crumbled to mourn their princess.

After the Calamity the main priority has been to rebuild not only the kingdom but their morale. Overplanning and anxious Zelda wants to ensure the royal line to ease her people's insecurities and asks her trusted knight to be of assistance.The problem arises once something horrible is found underground after all of her careful planning...
